今天是农历二十四，在北方地区，遵循传统习俗，家家户户都会进行一次彻底的大扫除。正如宋代诗人戴复古在其诗中所描述的那样：“扫除茅舍涤尘嚣，一炷清香拜九霄。”

由于“尘”字与“陈”字在发音上相同，这一习俗也寓意着摒弃无用的旧物，让我们的居住环境变得更加清净整洁。同时也是在提醒我们：时值岁末，要记得涤除心灵上的污垢，忏悔过去的错误，从而以一种全新的心态和面貌来迎接新的一年，开启新的生活篇章！

可谓：

欢欢喜喜扫尘埃，

除陈布新吉祥来。

告别过去迎新春，

诸事顺遂乐开怀。

愿文殊菩萨的智光普照，妙智慧、妙吉祥伴随着我们开心每一天！天天开心，天天见！

Today is the 24th day of the lunar calendar, and in the North, it’s tradition for every household to do a thorough cleaning. As the poet Dai Fugu from the Song Dynasty put it: “Clean the cottage and sweep the dust, offering a stick of incense to the heavens.” 

The word for “dust” (尘) sounds the same as the word for “old” (陈), so this custom is about more than just tidying up. It’s a way to let go of the old, clearing away what’s no longer needed, and making space for something new. It’s also a gentle reminder to clear our minds of old defilements, to repent for our wrongdoings, and to welcome the new year with a fresh heart and an open mind, ready for a new beginning. 

As the saying goes:

Joyfully we sweep away the dust,

Removing the old, we embrace new scenery and blessings.

Bidding farewell to the past as spring arrives,

May everything go smoothly and bring us joy!

May the Wisdom of Manjushri Bodhisattva shine upon us all! May every day of ours be blessed with Wisdom and Auspiciousness! With Wisdom comes a joyful heart, and a joyful heart keeps us together in every day!
